hi, has anyone fitted these bulbs before??
there only a tenner so im tempted to give it a go as i got no dash lights at the mo.

no they do not fit. they are slightly smaller and will not make the connection, a bit like the myth of weighted gear shift.
just get the original type. i usually buy mine from a dealers :rolleyes:

The best method is to solder universal LEDs to the original holders.

I think I would be asking why I have no dash lights?
Are you sure it's blown bulbs or no supply to the clocks per se?

it could be a blown bulb or the dimmer fingers crossed its a blown bulb

Yes, I had to mention this in the MK2 section... My dash lights wet out, turned out to be a poor connection on the dimmer, changed the switch and all was well.
Give the dimmer a bit of a fiddle, you may find they come back on. They tend to become weak at full brightness and the connection fails, if you turn it down a little it may work again, if they do, change the switch.

Double check the wire that comes off the rocker cover (Top right corner) to the coil mounting bracket bolt is okay, as this earths the dash clocks too.
