Title: Mud Flaps for the ED35
Post by: Murrayedition35 on 11 March 2012, 19:57
I'm sure this has been asked before, however can't find it....

Has anyone fitted mud flaps on their ED35, It's just my brother in law came round with his new GTD and he got them fitted when he ordered it and said it keeps his GTD clean....

Thoughts...

don't think they fit the 35 due to the side skirts

Defo don't fit on the front but they do on the rears. I know this as before I picked my 35 up the dealer asked if they could try fitting some.

...........bit like the ED30, you can get them for the front(standard gti ones) but none for the rear due to bumper style. They don't do much good anyway.

I'd think you'd need R front flaps, Gti rear ones.

Configurator shows both front and rears available. Note says fronts are not suitable for Golf R which is a bit odd as the skirts on R and ED35 look the same?

The configurator is known to lie in the past so i would not trust it.
Does it also exclude the bluemotion?
