Title: VW Camper Recovery

Got asked to Recover this today

Was for a friend of mine & wanted it delivering to its new owner down towards Stafford

Fitted on the back of the truck no problem

Had quite a few people looking & pointing at it on the Motorway  :grin:

Saw a few nice VW's on the way back from UD when I stopped on knutsford services on the way back

Feck me thats a 'Project'

and if you advertised that service you'd probably make a small fortunate over the summer! they did a little poll on VZi, an i think it was 2 recoverys each per owner per year!  :grin:

It was mainly body work that it needed,All floor was solid, Interior was all fitted appart from fridge & cooker,

Had a Porsche 1770cc air cooled engine fitted to it,

hmmmm a progect manager i work with is currently £11k into his 'Solid' T2!  :grin: :grin:

Porsche engine though.... :drool:

 :grin: Solid = glassfibre and filler around the bottom quarter of the vehicle.
