my mate text me asking whether my car uses oil as his mk4 golf 1.8t using a little bit of oil over about 500 mile or more. he running 10-40 due to the miles on his car. does anyone elses

My 1.8t uses nothing really ive not even used a litre in 2 years of owning it but i do have oil and filter changes every 5000 miles.but my mrs mk4 2 litre gti drinks the stuff.both using 10-40.think every cars different really.

Mine with 118k on it does not use any.
