Title: 16v brakes

The brakes on my mk2  16v were spongey so checked the fluid it looked black so I changed the fluid an bled the air out but still quite spongey,is there something more wrong than fluid?

Rebleed them again, might even be worth trying a pressure bleeder

If after bleeding again you get the same spongy feel, try looking at the flexi's, as over time the inner lining can deteriorate and allow the pipe to expand on brake application.

could also be the brake servo or masterclynder.??????????????????
