Title: starter motor problem
Post by: (shakey) on 09 March 2012, 18:37
this has happened twice to me now.

the stater motor has stuck and wont turn at all,the car will only start if you bump start it.

after that the motor is fine until it happens again is it worth dismanteling it and cleaning it all up or just get a new one?

I would bump it and get the output of the altenator checked before you fit the starter , at least you can return the starter and swap for a battery
