Alright mk4 guys i have asked my mate to join who has recently bought a R32 user name jamie_r32. You may have seen my thread recently about his blown fuse problem so to let you know this is the guy. He's a top mate of mine and works at forge motorsport as a development engineer so maybe able to help you out on some things once you get to know him. cheers

Hi Topher,
The difference between the 2 valves....
Basically the 007 is a excellent valve but with any product there is always room for improvement.
We studied the 007 and found that 25% of the chamber (where the piston moves up and down) was not being used.
Straight away that was going to be the first thing we were going to change.
we also looked into what other ways we could change it.
The 007's piston runs up and down on 2 o-rings situated in the body of the valve.
We have know changed this so that the o-rings are sat on the piston now and the body is completely smooth.
This allows the piston to move more freely inside the chamber.
With the 25% reduction of the chamber it now makes the valve even faster to respond as the air does not have to fill up a part of the chamber before it moves.
Most obvious the look of the valve has changed.
Basically... the best just got better :).
I hope this answers what you needed to know.

it does cheers. i'll add it to the writeup. you also made it take 25% longer to change the spring

Well it's been two months since the last on here. I really like the idea of a group buy (I remember when this forum did that for Audi TT chrome pedals for MK2 GTI's and I missed out on that!).
I imagine we can do a group-buy of 20+ people who all want a 008 - count me in

Not sure he's coming back to chat maybe he's busy or something havn't seen him for about two months
-
hmmm group buy you say? leave it with me i'll see what I can do.
-
I'm averaging around £124 for the forge 008. Let's see how much lower per unit you can manage Topher! The challenge is on...
