What you may not realise is that the vehicle in the pictures is on a DL plate, which denotes that it was registered on the Isle of Wight originally.
I already have my off road toy though and I'm not re-bodying it now I've nearly got the cage finished so this crazy suggestion is, unfortunately off the menu.

I did. :nerd:

I know you do and I did wonder if this is a re-bodied SJ...
This crazy suggestion wasn't really genuine, just saw it and thought of you.
However, it's still nicer than your MK3 which is what the suggestion was getting at. Perhaps not quite as practical as the MK3's intended purpose though.

Definitely something re-bodied as it's got a serious 4wd chassis there. I wonder what it was that donated the running gear.

Thinking about the size of the Polo body and looking at the body mounts and towing point I'd hazard that it's an SJ chassis, which has had some work.

Seeing as your getting well into the 'scene' now DH, if you were after another Polo, how about something like this!

There are lot's of cars done this way.... It's more common than some people think.

Thought as much, it was actually the wheels that made me think SJ to begin with.

Been around a while now and in various guises.
The tyre fitment makes me feel very ill.

There WERE a lot of sheds mucked about with in this way. Not legally since the advent of IVA though.
