Hey guys iv got a 1985 gti and was just wondering if 13" wheels fit? Cheets.

If your running 8v 239mm Brakes then you should be able to get away with 13's.  If you're running 256mm brakes, you'll be limited to 14's.

and the way to tell this is if the caliper carrier is bolted on, rather than part of the hub.

Even if they fit, you will screw up the gearing and speedo.

Well, it depends on the size of the tyres, really doesn't it.

If they're lower rolling radius then it will, whether Wayne's owned a Golf2 or not.

Na won't b using it wiv thos wheels just wanna put them on it while its on my drive. I'm not gunna use it with them on it.

Oh so this is just so it has something to sit on.  What wheels are they then, just a set of ickle steels?

ye there my 13" steels i had on my mk3. they fitted ok.whoooo tbh they dnt look to bad.lol
