If your running 8v 239mm Brakes then you should be able to get away with 13's. If you're running 256mm brakes, you'll be limited to 14's.

and the way to tell this is if the caliper carrier is bolted on, rather than part of the hub.

Don't listen to anything Wayne says. He's never owned a Mk2 Golf.
Well, it depends on the size of the tyres, really doesn't it.
If they're lower rolling radius then it will, whether Wayne's owned a Golf2 or not.

I would put money on these wheels ending up with low pro tyres on though.

ye there my 13" steels i had on my mk3. they fitted ok.whoooo tbh they dnt look to bad.lol
