Hi guys im new to the golf scene and just bought myself a golf 1.8t aum and planning on slamming it on coilies for my first mod so would like to see some pics of ur cars down and low and also if u could put down what coilies u are using and other mods like different arb to help u get them lows :smiley:
Also could u put down how far down ur coilies are and what size rims fanks guys

Not "slammed" by any means, no coilies, but -35mm Jamex springs on standard shocks.

not sure exactly how far but not all the way (still on standard ARB) and the wheels are 18s

I had the cheapy ones at first and they upgraded to FK's. Couldnt actually tell the diff

Here you go mate http://uk-mkivs.net/forums/t/455015.aspx?PageIndex=1 the tyres on my wheels make the gap look huge need some 215 40s not 35s, my old 16s were actually bigger overall then my 18s lol

Very very nice mate are ur coilies wound down all the way and as ur sump got enough clearence from the floor a mate of mine said il have to keep a eye on it as they pretty low i think the sump should be ok tho

Same as daz no adjusters 15mm spacers on the rear 10 up front...... With the sump dont drive like a c*** around towns and youl be alright i catch my lower arms alot if i get carried away though lol

Lowered on JOM coilovers with standard arb, down all the way on the rears, not sure how much the fronts are down.
Wheels are 18" 7.5j et38 with 20mm rear spacers and 5mm fronts:

I'm running on fk's. Nice ride, the backs are all the way down, slowley
managing to get the fronts down, got about 10 threads left.

Fcuk me, how do some of you cope on our sh!tE roads? Mine is like a monster truck compared to some motors!
Mind you,i have to do 100miles+ a day, things may be different if I didn't have to use the car for work. :sick:

Just finished putting the wheels on my car. Need to do a set up and get some adjustable drop links as they're rubbing against the Eibach ARB on the front.

No. did have a major problem with front wheels catching on front coils tho! :angry:
The 15mm spacers i had for my old Rear wheels are now on the front untill i can order some 8 or 10mm ones!
