Post by: 2007GTI on 04 March 2012, 15:59
I just brought a refurbished genuine 17" Monza II and its stamped with part no: 1K0 601 025 BB

can anyone shed any light on if its correct for 07 MY GTI?

UPDATE: took original old wheel off for swap and its stamped 1K0 601 025 AC.

I read on some other forums VW changed supplier, but this one is still stamped BBS.

any ideas?

Cant see it making that much difference if its the same offset size and weight... But if the weight is out then I wouldnt be putting it on my car

If the weight was out I'd expect it to be pulling slightly? But think about it...if you get a direct replacement from VW likelihood is it would be from the newer supplier so they are probably supplied withthe exact specification. It's only the dodgy replicas you need really sorry about

its 100% VW part, with VW part number etc. although not from VW direct, im not made on money!

its doesnt pull, although it is on the back.

yes you would expect a direct replacement to match, but its not the exact part number, I was just checking it was identicial.
