Title: Brake disc size required..
Post by: cupraowner on 04 March 2012, 12:57
hi,

I'm trying to determine the size of my brake discs -on a 55 Golf GTi - but looking online, I get a number of different sizes. Does 288mm sound about right to you? The Steeler wants me to bring the car in so they can check them - but I haven't the time at the moment. Surely all Golf GTi's were fitted with one size brake disc from factory?

If you can afford an upgrade then the S3 front and rear brakes fit. 345 mm vented up front and 310mm vented at the rear. Personally I'd at least go for the 345mm fronts.
