Title: Cruise control
Post by: Anthony on 03 March 2012, 16:25
Hi, has any one ever fitted cruise control to there car ? there are loads of genuine kits on ebay all you need is a indicator stalk with the controls on and a section of loom, seems easy lol . it needs switching on , i'm hoping the snap on laptop thingy we have at work will do it. Any tips ?
Cheers Anthony

Pretty sure you need vag-com to enable it or dealer or specialist with a VW1551 or 1552 tool :undecided:

being turned on at a dealers will prob double the cost
but still it will be nice on a long motorway trip and should keep the mpg down as well. Ive heard loads about vag.com on here whats it all about ?

Buy a vag-com lead of ebay and install the software on a laptop. You can then scan for faults, log measuring blocks, unlock some new features
