Title: MK3 golf GTI not starting help needed!
Post by: MattMK on 01 March 2012, 13:51
Hi all I'm really in need of some help! I have done every thing I can think of! I have changed: coil, dizzy cap, rotor arm, leads, plugs, ecu temp sensor, crank sensor, the usual relays its had a new battery and its still won't start! I'm getting a fairly weak spark and some odd voltages at the main engine plug like 3volts etc, when turning over it stinks of fuel!

Any help would be so helpful!

Cheers
Matt

There should be a retaining nut on the stalk of the dizzy, loosen it and rotate the whole dizzy around though 180
