Parker?
Bloody Parker???
10 games in 8 years :lipsrsealed:
He isnt even the best mid at spurs let along england! Funny to see why pearce chose him... has the same attitude as him... nearly as sh1te as he was
that is all
-
Agree with the above, however the forwards look pretty good, Wellbeck Sturidge and Walcott up front
-
and 2 of those dont even play up font for their clubs .
its pretty shameful that a country with football as its national sport, the acclaimed domesic biggest league in the world. and they cant find 2 strikers to play upfront out of a possible 60m people.
its a fecking shame!! you get the best man for the job... not some tw4t who is popular because he scored a penatly after missing one in the previous major tournament. The guy grabs his shirt after scoring and then starts crying, and this is labelled as caring for your country!! REALLY??? looked more like caring for yourself to me.
Wasnt the brightest of players on the pitch either as far as I can remember. How many premiership clubs would of hired Pearce as a manger?? :lipsrsealed:
/rant
p.s. i plan on becoming a football manager, thats why it matters
-
and 2 of those dont even play up font for their clubs .
But they can, and do quite well...
But hey everyone has their own opinion
-
agree
also playing for England has become a chore for most english players and thats why when a friendly pops up all of a suddent tehy have a small injury and wont be able to play.......... Not good enough.
They should be proud to be asked to play for their country, would much rather see lower league players play for the country, at least they would try and give it their all and tbh couldnt be much worse then some of the players we have.

I agree.. both great players, with huge potential. However do we seriously not have 2 CF's

I know its worrying, like you said above with all the people in England how do we not have some decent CF's? We have to depend on Rooney being fit and on form (As much as it pains me to say it)
OH well lets hope tonight makes us re-gain faith!

I thought Toby was posting about.

Too many foregn players suffocating the progress of all the talented english players in my opinion. The current mob of english internationals are overpaid for what they are and under achieve at this level. Have been impressed with Parker this season though out of all the english midifielders. Well except Scholes.
-
I know we lost tonight but I actually enjoyed watching them. Well in the first half, I went to play footy after and I come back and it's 2-0!!
-
Funny how Parker and Wellbeck were the only two English players who gave a s**t !!!!! Pearce is not the Man for the job and never will be. Granted he is English through and through but not talented enough. To me the game was a complete waste of everyones time....the only thing we learned was without a decent Manager we have little self belief and play crap !!!!
-
like i have said previoulsy... its the people in charge that make all the wrong decisions.
just eaxctly did pearce win in his career anyway
-
I think wellbeck was crap tbh. Parker was Awsome in the first half, but can't remember his name being mentioned in the second half. Pierce is a good manager, but not what England need right now. Suggestions that hes not achieved enough and not proud enough are tosh, yeah he scored a penalty for himself, but that was an era when it actually still mattered to be called upon for your country, and financial gains were few and far between.
-
no one said he wasnt proud enough. my point was, proud is all he is!!
like i said he hasnt even played at the highest level, tactically lacking, poor communication skills, and proven to buckle under pressure. the fa need to go back to work and realise they need the best man available for the job.... and that man certainly isnt english :lipsrsealed:
in truth the money the players get paid for internationals is peanuts compared to what their clubs play. i know where my loyalty would be...
-
Well... That was disappointing ha
At least Sturridge played well though

I do agree Stuart Pearce wants to succeed but he is lacking. He knows very little about top level Management and will never succeed as a top Manager. However the best man for the job is most definitely English. Sir Harry Redknapp has been great at EVERY club he has managed at. He has a knack for making ordinary players play the best football of their careers and builds a good attacking football team wherever he goes. He commands respect from players and fans across the country and will be the best English Manager since Sir Bobby Robson if he gets the job. I for one hope he gets the job as there are no other English Managers who deserve the job yet and apart from the special one from Madrid there is no one else with the required know how for such a demanding job.
As for pay.....wearing an England shirt should be an honour as it was in Bobby Robsons days. Every player should be waiting for the phone call to say they are in the squad regardless of how much they earn at club level. Thats the problem with English football nowadays, the pride has been replaced with cash.
-
The kind of people who gag the law over sex lives, fights, stabbings, racism and act like idiots will never have the pride and heart to tough it out for honour and the adoration of the nation.
It does not pay well enough.

little bit harsh.. as that is a very small minority when you look across the football leagues. In general though.... take a smaple of random 20 year olds, pay them and all their mates they have grown up with £10k+ a week and watch what happeens!!
As for pride.. I dont really think many of the england players do lack. I just think that its usually the manager that doesnt have a plan. For the first time in a long while FC came along and installed some respect back into the shirt. He had a plan.... the FA had a slightly different one
-
SOOOOOPPPPPEEEERRRRR SUPER SCOTT....
-
Maybe a bit harsh  but just look at AFC Wimbledon and that will show you what can be done with players and management who are in it for football......
I am betting on Jose as the next England boss
-
SOOOOOPPPPPEEEERRRRR SUPER SCOTT....
i agree... not bad that sinclair
-
Scott Sinclair, dirty gas head!
