Title: ABS Pump error.
Post by: maaarcooose on 29 February 2012, 10:28
Hi,

I've just been trying to diagnose the problem with my ABS on my 2001 Polo GTi.
It says that the ABS pump has signal outside specified range.

Does that mean the pump is shot or could it just be a loose connection?

Do you have the actual fault code?

Generally the fault that means its time for a new control unit is "brake pressure sensor failure"   Not to say this fault isnt going to mean the same, but its not a common known fault as such, unless they have renamed it on the polo

code will be something like 66-1  if its not a P code.
