Title: mk2 16v random missfire problem

My mk2 has all off a sudden developed an intermittant missfire on start up.Sometimes its fine and then others it starts but missfires for a couple of secs and then runs ok.

It does sometimes fail to start but after a couple of tries it eventually goes.

It has been fine up until now and the only thing i have recently changed is the isv but tht was for a second hand one.

Any ideas what could be my problem???

Errr, the second hand ISV?

Also check the spray pattern of the fifth injector.

But do it somewhere safe, away from flames and sparks and such-like.
