Title: anyone know what this connector is for?

my heater controls don't light up and i decided to check the fuses tonight, which are all fine... however i did find this unused connection, does anyone know what this is for?

MFA unit plug I think....

If your heater panel don't light up it will be the bulb!!

I'm pretty sure its the MFA unit...

it does look like someone has been having fun with the wiring!!

Looking at all the tape that's on the ignition loom!!

yeah it was originally an 8v k-jet but was swapped for a digi by previous owner as he bought it with a seized engine

you should have 2 connectors going to the heater control - one round black and one small rectangular grey, test the rectangular grey for voltage when lights are on, if voltage is there bulb is gone and as far as i know you cant replace them seperately.

Oh but you can replace the bulbs tho see... I've done over 100 of these buggers now :D

I'm having a similar issue.
When I took the clocks out to check the stuff for the MFA, I rushed putting everything back together.
Now my heater lights don't work, and the only thing that lights up on the clocks is the speedo.

Do you have leds or bulbs in the clocks? Leds only work one way round. Or maybe they aren't seated properly if you rushed it. As for the heater lights, maybe you knocked the connector out.
