Got left in the dust of a pug 106.
Not sure whether it was tuned or what but it was driven by a 20 year old lad (like me) and I was giving my 115 all she could muster..
Something must be amiss or am I just bad lol...
Mind you, PSItuning did muck about with my actuator (grr) so that could be my excuse for being slow.

The pugs are a lot lighter and are surprisingly quick

I'm with steve its all about power to weight there mate ! Time for a re map lol
-
Its got a blacksmoke remap on it. Supposedly 140bhp. I think psi retarded my actuator as far as it goes to try cure overboost. Don't think its done anything apart from slow me down.
I need to set it back tbh

Haha love that I'm a pug lad at heart owned 4 of them 1 206 gti and 3 306s 1 gti-6,put it this way I raced a Saxo vts same engine as the 106 and it left my gti-6 !
Any old school pug would leave a golf in the twistys.

Had a saxo vts when i was 19. Couldn't go much quicker for your money! It ran 15.7 quarter miles standard (well de cated and stainless) suprised lots of people. My current golf would never keep up with it but it doesn't break anywhere near as regularly

ive had a 106 gti, and standard they are 120bhp and super quick, not suprised tbh
