Title: 2.0 8v stalling

hi people got a problem with the golf and needs ideas on what it could be basically sometimes il be driving and have to slow down so clutch goes down and itll just stall? or the revs will go to stall then slowly go up and down between stalling and normal idling at 1thousand revs?

just had the same problem, replaced my bungs, breather pipes, plugs, dizzy cap, arm and cleaned the throttle body then disconnected the battery for 30mins and took it for a gd thrashing last night, now it seems to running fine touch wood, give the pipes and tb a clean out and try that first
