Title: GTI fuel pump

is the rear wiring loom for the fuel pump the same on 8v and 16v?
also are the intank fuel pumps the same?

Yes to both questions, main fuel pump is different on a 16v however.

The 16v KR fuel pump is the same as the 8v EV (K-jet).

The 8v digi is different.

I was sure that I read somewhere the 16v pump was higher pressure  :undecided:

It is higher pressure, than the 8v digi - but its the same as the 8v k-jet.

(I've got a 16v pump on my 8v :) )
