Title: How much oil does m car hold?

Wanting to do an oil change one car before I go away for the weekend.
How much oil does my engine hold and what's the best oil for it?
1.6 16v think engine is AZD.

oil capacity is in the service book iirc

and as for what oil, go to vw, they are usually pretty cheep for oil and they will know what oil is best.

15/40 semi synth oil will be fine and I would say your looking at about 4.5ltrs.

fill it with 3 then check after that, even tho engine will hold 4.5 you will never be able to drain all the 4.5 litres that its holding.
