Think its more to do with the temperature differences, still rather cool might have to.try it if I gett a dent

That's pretty cool. First time I've seen it. Kind of guess it has to do with heat making metal expand and liquid nitrogen from the can making it quickly contract, and flinging it back into shape.

Rapid cooling of the metal makes it contract thus popping out.

Its not liquid nitrogen, that would do more damage than good. Its just compressed air in a can

My guess is the big dents first. Doubt this method works well on the small "dings".

So next time I wrap the car round a tree I don't need t-cut? Just some heat and some co2 air

Amazing stuff, would love to give it a go if I ever get a dent like that.

I'm still not a 100% sure whether this can work or is just some elaborate hoax lol

it'll work on larger dents like they've done, I've seen it done before ( in videos ) - nothing to lose but a 5 mins and a can of compressed air

Perhaps someone on here with a dent should give it a go and see??

It does work, its the quick change in temp that cause the metal to pop out. You can go from cold to hot or visa versa. Doesn't have to be compressed air, you can also use dry ice, freezer spray etc.

I tried it on a dent in one of the front wings ages ago as I had a spare air canister in the house. It didn't work for me unfortunately.

Maybe you did it wrong, you are meant to rub in some deep heat first

dose work  but as said not on all dents

expansion and contarction of metals    sometimes its bloody anoying and a pita othertimes it makes life easy,   but as long as the metal hasnt streched you can allways pop it back
