Title: Does vented wing have any benefit other than looks?
Post by: twotwofour on 24 February 2012, 18:02
I guess it lends it self to better air intake, not direct but almost a ram air effect?

Reason i ask is, i've recently found a vented wing in good condition. I think its similar to an M3 section of wing welded in to a standard wing.

Yeah only for cold air from the standard cold feed. You can modify the air feed to it though.

It looks like it all lined up something like. Might bolt it on and see what it does. Guess it cant do any harm
