Title: rear dewipering(confirm before morning please)

Am i correct in thinking i need a 25mm rubber blanking grommit to cover rear wiper hole in glass?want to make sure before i remove it all lol.thanks

i've just got the bung thing from halfords.... i'll chuck that in with the wipers if you want it mate.....

Cheers guys seen them german ones before,yea ive got a halfords jobbie 25mm was just wanting to check size before starting just in case i bought the wrong size.was just goin to put a little silicone on outside lip on under side of rubber blanking plug if you know wot i mean and put in the hole. :undecided:

25mm Halfords one is fine.....I have one on my Mark 3 and you don't need to silicone it either. Mine has never leaked.

looks tidy. I may have to do this to mine as I keep getting water in my boot from pipes bursting. Looking forward to reversing and not being able to see out the rear window. NOT  :sick:

Right ive dewipered all ok except where the old grommit was its left a dirty ring excuse the pun.how can i clean it off ive tried window cleaner and worktop cleaner stuff!

yea i was umming and arring whether to or not ill see how i get on,i never used rear screen wash.only cost pennies for the grommit so if i dont like i can cut my miniscle losses and reinstall wiper.plan is to smooth bumpers wen i can find a gen anni petrol valence for the rear.
