Was your quote directly from a human being? I tried the online valuation and it said 2.5k  with no modifications!

They then rang me up and said "How about we give you a real quote now?"... I take it that's standard... I renew this August.

The quick quotation facility assumes a lot of information (for the better).  A price of £2.5k indicates the criteria for our car club scheme is not met so we have called you to go through a confirmed quotation.

Thanks

Hi,

I am sorry to hear that you have not been called, we make every effort to call each customer, we'd be mad not to.

If either of you do wish to entertain getting a quotation from us, feel free to submit a call back request via the link below:

Big thumbs up for Sky Insurance for my price of £490, 26 yrs old, 5 yrs protected NCB, Golf GT TDi 140 mods declared, 15k miles/yr. Beat my renewal premium with Greenlight by £9 heh... and certainly beat mainstream companies by hundreds.

Sam was also helpful.

Just got my renewal with Greenlight (Highway) and its gone up £100 to £550

Submitted call backs with Adrian Flux and Sky Insurance.

Adrian flux £530 with £300 excess, Sky Insurance £550 with £200 excess.

Any chance the quote can be made better for me Mr Sky Insurance man?? 7 years no claims, 27 years old, no MODS, and only do around 5000 miles a year. If you can beat Adrian Flux then you have yourself a new customer.

PM me if you need my REF number ect.

Thanks David

Hi David,

I'll drop you a PM but to be fair, although our price is £20 more expensive it does have a £100 better excess.

Thanks
