Have a look on the VIN code and see if it has the following letter

U = Uitenhage ( South Africa), or
W = Wolfsburg (Germany), or
P = Mosel (Germany).

Dont qoute me on it though   :smiley:

All anni's were wolfsburg built (as they were only sold in selected european market's)

Just out of interest is that actually the correct way to work it out?

Because mine begins with"W" and has another "W" in it

Nearly took the beast back to Wolfsburg and do the Nurburgring for my 30th, a few of my mates went and hired a A8 for the trip, said it was mint, esp the factory museum!
