Title: Couple hrs at garage.. the findings!
Post by: kennedyuk2001 on 22 February 2012, 13:03
Ok have ABS problems and this dam limp mode so spent the morning at my good friends garage.
Have checked and cleaned and cleared the ABS light codes, All seems ok but still bring up ABS light. Gonna try replcing the sensor, we phoned for a price £55 quidish.... that can wait I decided.
Gonna look for a 2nd number.

Onto the turbo, actuator looks free, we got vac pump on there and seems to move freely. Checked the condition of all hoses and look ok. Plus no signs of any leaking air from them either.
Hooked up to his fault reader and gave a new code:-

17964 - P1556 Turbo super charger boost sensor (A) circuit : control limit not reached.

Now, is this the infamous N75 on the bulkhead causing this? and will this be the limp mode cause?

think that is the MAP sensor rather than N75

faulty MAP sensor will cause limp mode if playing up.
