The only Chinese starter is duck pancakes. And you just cannot beat a top Sweet n Sour. Gotta be right tho and non of that Cantonese style whereby you deep fat fry them in fish style batter either
But with you on the whole menu Guy

chances are so is that. i mean even the salad in most takeaways now is full of salt.
sure the salad in a subway is equal to that in a bag of crisps (just the salad, non of the meaty part)

Im a chinese whore and have stopped going to my local one as they know me by name now...and always spend a bomb so it last me all weekend.
Love the Crispy Aromatic Duck for starters....... but Won Ton Soup is the balls to!
Love Sweet n Sour Chicken but not the silly american batter coverd balls!
Beef in black bean with "RED" peppers
Crunchy shreded Chillie Beef
Chicken in Yellow Bean Sauce / satay Beef
Beef in Oyster Sauce
House spec chow mein or Singapore Noodles if just for me!
+ Free bottle of wine and 2 bags of crackers as there the best spoon in the world and everything taste better off a prawn cracker...

how do indians survive then
just learn to cook it yourself and cook some healthy dishes...

I love Indian takeaway but I tend to seek out the healthier ones. These are usually little corner-shop type stuff where the food is essentially home-made. Tend to have much lower levels of salt and fat than the usual takeaways and are authentic too.

Plenty of choice in Southall, used to work that way and had every option available. Tasty, I am hungry now.
