Will a 2000 vw lupo 16v fit a 1998 vw mk3 1.4
-
Probably but it's way too thin for a mk3.
-
What do you mean by to thin?
-
Yes it should be fine, I thought they were like mk4 Golf wheels but a direct fit so don't understand the "too thin" comment?
-
IIRC its a direct fit but looks like a MK4 wheel, maybe its a bit smaller? total pig to get off the air bag though, i tried once in a scrappy but failed so i never actually got one  (limited tools at the time)
-
Direct fit dude. Just put one in my mk3.
The rim isn't as chunky as the mk3 one though.
Air bag is such a faff on the lupo wheel. You have to in sert a small.flat blade into these small holes in the back of th lupo wheel. Then fiddle about for ages until it finally finally goes twang! And releases!

You know 'thin' as the opposite to thick. Even the gti one doesn't give you anything to grip on.
-
You might have shovel hands
-
Any pics of one done might be interested in doing this as my mk3 one needs chamging
