Title: Interior lights

Recently i noticed my two rear interior reading lights not working so purchased new bulbs from vw,after changing still no joy and also my drivers door puddle light isn't working but passenger side is,main light in front of car all works fine.checked all fuses and none are dead.any ideas? could it be a faulty door module? if it is,is there a way to check?

Me mrs's golf doing similar things front interior lights only working when they want to etc etc wouldnt mind knowing the answer to this to mate :smiley:

Having a guess gents would be down to the door module common problem atleast your not suffering from the locks playing tricks YET! Iv lived with a faulty door module the last couple of years passenger side puddle light works when it wants to sometimes its fine, somtimes its very dim sometimes it doesnt work at all. Pasenger door pin will not stay down when trying to lock from inside the car unless you press the lock button twice quickly but the main thing is it still locks when you lock the car with the fob. Doesnt help i need a new main interior light tho switch has came off completelly lol

I thought it was just me. None of my interior lights work. I even bought new units and bulbs but nothin

mine work fine at the mo, but that is subject to change without prior notice
