Do you think i will get away using jubilee clips instead of cv boot clips to faster the gaiter on or are they to big?

I've done it without problems, theyre still on my mums cars 5 years later,
but its dependant on clearance available as the tightening screw sits proud of the surface

I think i am going to have clearance issues with a jubilee clip. I only have a plastic cable tie on at the moment and its leaking grease slowly.

A good plastic cable tie should be more that enough if tightened right up.

I have used chunky cable ties for years, never failed me,  jubby clips will be fine!
