Title: Changing Seat Front Belts...

Has anybody done this, how hard to do, got a set of lupo gti, red belts which I want to put into the front of my mark 4?

Any advice would be appreicated?

Should be just a case of unbolting them from the anchor points and in the B pillar behind the cover. I'd disconnect the battery though as you'll prob have fault codes from unplugging the ignitors

Easiest way is remove rear seats as its so easy to do and there will be more room, remove rear door card, unbolt seatbelt from B pillar, unbolt the bit that reels up the belt behind the door card and the little rod of metal the end of the seat belts looped on needs to be undone at one end to pull it off !

Im quessing by seat front belts you mean front seat belts? As wazzzer said remove b pillar. think theres 3 bolts hoding it down unscrew them

unplug the harness and replace.



once you have the b pillar off it should be pretty simple to see what you have to do.

may have to lift up the run going along the floor too which will make it eeasier but that just pulls off

Sweet chaps, got a seat of Lupo gti red seat belts for free off a mate, want to try put them in - nice cheap mod, something different
