Title: MK 5 GTI FRONT BUMPER DAMAGE/ PATTERN PARTS

I need a front bumper and grills for my 07 GTI and possibly a headlight. What experiences have people had with patern parts? I know that the cheap ones dont fit well and they can be grief. Anyone got first hand opinion on these or shall i go salvage? I have a large excess hence pricing up myself. Your thoughts?

you answered your own question there.

I would go for a genuine second hand part, over a pattern one any day, esp if its going to be sprayed anyway.

I got one very slight damage nothing a body shop couldn't sort out free, if you want to collect
