hey, a few people asked me to post a remeinder to this meet.
its at 'the fox' in patching, just outside of worthing off the a27 towards chichester. come off the a27 heading west at the littlehapton sliproad, over the a27 and follow signs for patching. about 2 miles from the junction, if that.
from the other direction, heading east towards worthing take the slip road signed 'patching only' and it'll take you straight to the pub.
the weather should be good, get there around luchtime and the more the merrier!!
-
Isnt that the same date as the surrey one?/?
-
it is, but this is at lunch time!

Does anyone know how many dubbers there are in SUSSEX , east or west ( I'm in BRIGHTON ) as I didn't get any response regarding convoy up to the SPRING FESTIVAL at SANTA POD beginning to think that there's no one in this vicinity
-
well i live in worthing, so does davidhawkins, but he's having car trouble at the moment! there are a big bunch of corrado boys round this way and i'm trying to round up some more. i see quite a few nice golfs around this area but don't know who owns them. come to the meet, you get quite a good turn out if the weathers good!
-
It depends on whether I can get my parents to look aftermy daughters as they can some times be a right pain :undecided:
-
Thats the local ClubGTI one isn't it...........been to it a couple of times myself, had a good time, all are welcome
Is John Wintle still responsible for arranging this event? Last time I met him he was test driving a mk5 for the weekend
-
yeah still john wintle, i was at the one where he had the mk5 i think, was that when they had the show and shine?
-
Yeah it was the show and shine that followed the treasure hunt last year where Dizzie caked his mk2 in mud to win the boobie prize  Ian and I did the treasure hunt in my cabrio
-
ahh i was at that! i think that one was the first one i went to!! never realised that was dizzie!!
to be honest, when i saw his car caked in mud i couldn't believe it! though he was mental!
-
I don't think you were the only one lol. Made my car look good parked next to it though

Actually if the weather is good I may just pop along to this. Beginning to look like the Surrey meet might be going all 'Pete Tong'
-
oh really? i'll be debuting my golf again at this one (fingers crossed) and was planning on going to guildford after but its also my mates birthday and he's having a party in the evening, so i might have had to duck out of guildford anyway?
