Vw quote that the life expectancy for a golf engine is around 249k miles but ive known vw's get past the 300k miles mark and still be running without too many problems. :cool:

Cheap as chips is that sellers, good work........and dont be trying to sell it on here !  :laugh: :laugh: As for the 180,000 miles ! It's just run in I reckon.  :grin: :grin:

mine's 28 miles off hitting 180k.
although the clocks are the only part of the car to travel that distance having replaced just about everything else!
