Title: Tyre Size
Post by: ScottNic on 19 February 2012, 20:07
Hi folks, I hope you can help me out here. I've just picked up a set of Audi alloys for my 2.0 TDi 140. The car is standard height.  They are 5x112, offset 47 and 8jx18. Can I run the 245/40/18 tyres that are fitted? They're almost brand new and I'd like to run them if it's possible. Many thanks in advance.

Too wide really and will put the speedo and gearing out, you need 225/40/18's

Thanks Wayne. Do you know if the wider tyres would rub at all?
