I'm 20, DID have a years no claims, it was £2700 for the year for a 1.4, which for a start is ridiculous, now if my cars a write off will I have to pay the rest of my premium? Also does my excess effect the write off payout I will get?
Cheers

I'm assuming you pay monthly? I'm not sure how it works, I'm assuming you will be able to cancel the policy but there may be a penalty for doing so.
Your excess will be deducted from your payout.

i wouldn't claim if its just your car thats damaged, meany people find much more ecconmical for such crashes not to have happend and just go buy another car

It may well be that you used an external finance company to pay for your insurance, if this is the case you've effectively taken a loan so you'll still need to pay the annual premium + interest back.

Spoke to my insurance, I have to pay the remainder of the insurance no matter what and the cars not too bad, slight damage to rear, front - headlight, grill, bumper, strut brace, radiator, bonnet, + labour + spraying.

My insurance is now saying to me that I cannot cancel my insurance policy because I have had a claim, can this be right?
