Title: Heater not working - blowing cold air
Post by: DirtySanchez on 16 February 2012, 17:03
My heater today decided to stop blowing hot air, it'll still blow cold air set to cold, but on set to hot, it's not much hotter than cold. No soggy carpets so i think the matrix is ok, what do you guys suggest, its friggin freezing :(

it could be 2 things. Either the matrix is blocked or the heater resister is sh@gged. The resister is under the lower glove box at the back. It will have 3-4 wires going into it.

its just a switch that you disconnect and replace it. Try google for flushing the matrix out but its a dash out job i think.

Check the heater hoses and see if they are getting hot.
