Q1. Is it any good? Depends on what you want it to look like, what material you use and who you get to do it.

Q2. Does the film still look like paint? Depends on what you want it to look like and what material you use.

Q3. How much does it cost? Roughly? Depends on what your design, what material you use and who you get to do it.

About as much sound advice as people can give you based upon your original post.

If however you are enquiring as to a full body wrap, then several materials are available. Obviously carbon fibre vinyls are not going to look like paint but there are a wide range of gloss, metallic and matte look vinyls. The Ford Focus RS500 is a good example of what a completely matte wrapped car looks like.

The price will depend on the quality of materials, the quality of application and the skill of the applier.
