Yea, you mean vinyl wrap. Have defo seen different colours on ebay, buy a massive sheet it will be cheaper. I used a hair dryer and a small craft knife to finish all of my bits off...

What does heat wrapping actually do? You say that's your DP you just wrapped, as in the DP leading to your exhaust which then exits the car via the tail pipes...why would you do it there ? :undecided:

Quoted from a quick google search:
Exhaust wrap maintains hotter exhaust and header gases, decreases the gas density, and that allows the exhaust gas to exit the system faster! This increases exhaust scavenging, pulling intake and exhaust gases through the system faster, helping to lower intake temperatures: that equals more horsepower. Premium exhaust wrap also reduces radiant heat damage and can lower under hood temperatures by as much as 60%. Lower overall under hood temperatures can further reduce your intake temperatures.
If you can believe that word for word

Cheers yeah I found some on eBay from Poland lol. So I'm going to order some of that pretty cheap. It's the make 3m as well what they use to wrap cars.
-
Just what Hoggy said thats why ive done it. But the main reason because ive top mounted the turbo I need to stop the radiant heat and protect the brake lines and brake servo so heat wraping is ideal.

Jon mate, you appear to a small bin in your engine bay
Thanks for the info BTW guys

I think you'll find its a champagne bucket, lol .
DIY to stop the heat soak will see over 300bhp from the turbo so its going to get hot in there! Has a cold air feed running from the bumper staight to it as well and have now insulated it
