anyone know a good supplier that is inexpensive?
-
Eurocarparts? Use the forum discount?
-
i don't use eurocarparts..i bought a filter from them for my golf and it did not come with the gasket for the sump and I tried to return it because of that but they said that's my fault. they sell the gasket separately and then it turns out to be almost $50 quid. I bought a filter and gasket package from another place for under £20. Camberly auto suppliers. Eurocarparts are not user friendly-they advertise all sorts of automatic transmission fluids that are not compatible with the 01M gearbox. You have been warned. They are alright for basic parts I guess, but not everything!

Have a look at tierod69 on ebay, or B&B components online (same seller). The often have the breather pipes for decent money, but not sure about vac lines tbh.

Yep, tierod69 (b&b components) has breathers and may have vacuum hoses as well if you call them. Failing that vac hoses are readily available cheaply on eBay, its where I bought mine.

thanks for the help guys. I really want to change all the breather hoses and the vacuum lines. Was wondering what a good ballpark price for these would be? Anyone can give me a ballpark figure?
