Hi Guys,
Its time for a service. One thing on my list is spark plugs...I looked on GSF Car Parts but they all seem to have different electrode gap? Even when I put in my VRM? :S
What can you suggest?
These NGKs? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VOLKSWAGEN-GOLF-Mk3-91-98-2-0-NGK-SPARK-PLUGS-x4-/350499998319?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item519b6d8a6f#ht_2098wt_1187

I would get the Bosch super 4 spark plugs
-
I always use NGK plugs. 4 electrodes and cheaper than Bosch.
-
NGK BUR6ET are the recommended ones.

super 4 are bullsh1t on the 8v gti (used them before and didnt make f-all diffrence compared to the 3pin)

The spark plugs for the AGG/AKR/2E are...
NGK BUR6ET - 0.8mm gap
NGK 14GH-7DTUR - 0.8mm gap
Bosch W7LTCR - 1.0mm gap
Should be 3 electrodes, They do make special ones now, which are upgrades, but the 3 electrode is the best due to the swirl of the air fuel mixture, they just seem to react better.
NGK For the win - i always have trouble with bosch.

NGK's do the job! :)

+1 they run rough on Bosch

the t in an ngk number means triple electrode and triple's are vw's standard spec (I'm a geek with NGK stuff, I knew the national sales manager guy during my motor trade years :nerd:)
and bosch quality varies (they have a plug factory in brasil and the quality is shocking!)
