Mine was £600 fully comp with tracker fitted but I have got convictions on my licence
-
Tax was £125 for the year thought that was a piss take as its just a bike engine at the end of the day
-
insurance is about 250-500 depending what area you live, tax about same as a motorbike free if you register as agricultural and they are epic fun on road/offroad
-
Been thinking of getting one for a while cos a mate does a lot of green laning on his bike, but i dont have a bike licence.
-
thats ok you can drive on car licence and bike licence

Avoid agricultural like the plague unless you actually own a farm and even then your only allowed a certain distance from the farm. If you are caught riding an agricultural registered quad and have no such thing as a quad chances are it willl be taken away and crushed.
I would defo get another one once ive got a garage again. Def recommend a tracker they do like to go walkies. Luckily I woke up and caught the little tosser in the act and was able to land a right hook on him
-
 i would love to catch someone trying to steal my quad they would be in a world of hurt

They're a bit pikey.
Lots of green lane issues are caused by them, I know that much. Drives me up the wall seeing people with no plates etc tearing up ROW.

The legal green lanes are fine when we use to go out we was always aware of people and horses and would stop and turn the engines until the horses had passed.I can see how annoying kids or adults tearing around on them with no plates and no respect for anybody would annoy people it would annoy me. But all the people I went out with were legal and had respect so people taring them with the same brush I think is pretty unfair bit like calling all motorists chavs because they drive modified cars.

Im pretty certain a while back you posted pics of you and your mates tearing up a beach that 'we werent really meant to be on'?

You talking to me? Because if so you need to get your facts straight my quad never once went on a beach

You can see the issue though?
Unfortunately they're far more portable, cheaper and easier to make untraceable than a car.
And they have more of an appeal to people who might abuse rights of way for this reason.
-
And it begins and therefore soon come to an end

Lol tell you whats worse than both put together cyclists grrrr
-
Absolutely - tosspieces with their flashing lights and lights mounted on their helmets, actually inviting you to mis-judge the distance to where they're waiting for you to hit them.
I am disgusted to be associated with them.

Lol sorry for wandering slightly off topic but what annoys me is when you see one of them in the paper thats died it always says the drivers been arrested when 9 times out of 10 was prob the bloody cyclists fault. I had a row last week with one of the pharmacists from work moaning about car drivers when his riding to work. My reply was they pay road tax and insurance you dont so are they suppose to jump out of the way for you grrrr

Neither give you any more right to be on the road than a cyclist.
If you read the Highway Code you'll find it favours cyclists and pedestrians over car drivers.

Yeah I know it does dont think its right though. They should def be made to do a safety course and pay insurance but would be hard to enforce that. Jumping red lights drives me mad

You really are talking out of you ar$e now. Insurance to ride a pushbike?
I'm not a cyclist btw.
Yes there are some irresponsible cyclists about but you'll find there's twice as many tw@s in their Saxo's.
"Excuse me sir, can I see your insurance documents?"

Right so when a cyclist decides to dive up the inside of your car and leaves damage all along the side who has to pay for it. I did say it would be hard/impossible to enforce but in an ideal word. Is that ok that I have an opinion?

You should have been aware of the cyclist and not tried to close the gap on them, would be my opinion on that.
You don't *actually* own the road.
-
Lol neither do they
