Title: broken guide tube on clutch cable
Post by: ryanpretty on 13 February 2012, 14:00
has anyone ever had this problem. thought the clutch cable had snapped but it turns out its the metal guide tube that the clutch cable passes through before the white bit attaches to the clutch pedal. has anyone ever removed pedal assembly.... does steering column have to come out. a guide would be handy. need to remove to weld tube back on

this has happened on my mk3 golf estate gl which has the same engine as gti hatch - ie 8v

any help would be great
