I've gone and bought a 1990 Mk2 3dr valver!
I must be mad
I've owned VW's for 11yrs and sold my Ed30 just over a year ago. Replaced it with a JCW and although it's good, it ain't as good as the Ed!
Picking the valver up today, it's a standard one, 3 owner and is going to be spoilt.
Jobs on the list, gear linkage rebuild, the BBS RA's refurbed (if anyone can recommend a good refurber in the Warwick area that'd be a bonus), the leading edge of the bonnet needs a spray and a new starter motor.... It's got a new one fitted BUT it doesn't have the 5th injector connection and so there's a separate switch on the dash which has to be pressed in order to squirt more juice into her to get her going!!!
So, I'll be picking everyone's brains in the 'how to' section!
Happy times ahead.....along with many frustrating ones!!!

Welcome to the forum and really like your motor...looks a clean one.

Thanks!
It's a good one, totally genuine, totally standard, every MOT since 1993, every invoice for every service, part and repair! Just needs wheels doing, front edge of bonnet, gear linkage.
Driving it home today, 100 miles, didn't miss a beat and got many thumbs up....
