the far back part of my console dosnt match up to the rest if i put the screws in place it has like a 10mm gap between the handbrake part and the small tray part

any ideas

maybe a us spec item as previous owner removed armrest

Think mine has a gap too iirc,(standard feature)to me sounds like you got a highline console.?
