Tried fitting a decat the other week, long short of it 1 of the 3 studs sheered and we would of had to cut down the Miltek DP to make it fit so aborted.
Re fitting the origianl DP with just the 2 studs securing it, now IMO it 'seems' secure. No leaks coming from it, not wobbly etc etc.
Called up a garage to get them to fit the decat and they said they may have to remove the turbo to get the broken stud out...
My question is how many hour/s labour would it take to remove and refit the turbo?
Thankssss

I reckon it's doable to have it off and back on again in under an hour...
8 or so bolts on the mani
3 on the exhaust connection
1 on a support bracket
2 for the oil return pipe

Is this a drive way job? Axle stands raised all the way up perhaps...

Yeah - i did mine on the driveway (along with the entire engine!)
I always forget about gravity though when working under a car!!
you'll need a selection of various socket extensions and wobble bars - a flea with a crowbar would also be handy.
If i remember i'll find a diagram of the turbo as the the support bracket can be a bit of a git to find
