You've got a modern climate controlled car so don't need to open your windows other than to hurl insults at passers by or when kerb crawling. So don't bother as they look horrendous.

^^+1. They look aftermarket and cheapen the look of a classy car.

I only ever lower the window to run my swipe card through the card reader at the car park entry barrier at work. Climate control for me!

I fitted the wind deflectors to mine about 6 months ago, i had them on the mk5 aswell, i think they are quite subtle and not in ya face like the 4x4 type and a must on a golf if you always drive with the window cracked open like me, stops the rain water coming in all over the door switches and down your arm aswell
Think Kenny may have them fitted also now

Do you have any pics with them on mate?

Not usually a fan of them but I see the purpose! It's nice having your windows down in the summer. :)

How are they attached?

How are they attached?

They just slide under the rubbers on the door, no clips or adhesive take about 5 mins a side to fit
will not damage anything if you want to remove them at anytime and refit in bad weather if req
