Title: Passenger side won't lock from inside

My car locks fine from the VW alarm key from outside the car. When i get inside and press the door lock button on the door card, my drivers side locks but the passenger side goes down then shoots straight back up. Anyone know the cause of this?

Yep a faulty door module

Common fault my friend my golf does exactly the same i have lived with it for the past couple of years  have a read of the link below:
